Equatorial-Lloyd’s List Evening Reception 2018
During SIBCON 2018, Equatorial and Lloyd’s List co-hosted this wonderful evening reception:
“Good evening, and welcome. Thank you all for taking the time off your busy schedules to attend our reception this evening. A big thank you to Lloyd’s List for putting together this fantastic event.
Our industries continue to be challenging, with the trade war, escalating costs and the upcoming IMO 2020. It is now, clear as ever, that business models which have enabled success in the past will no longer guarantee the same. We must all change and adapt, for the better. In an age where economy of scale matters, we have expanded our bunker fleet. On the day after tomorrow, we will be taking delivery of our 16th vessel. We are also pleased to announce the launch of our revamped website, emf.com.sg, which just came online today.
Since the last SIBCON 2 years ago, Equatorial has successfully adopted the MFM for all our fuel oil deliveries. On 1st July 2019, the mandatory use of MFM will be extended to all distillates deliveries as well. We are delighted to have with us tonight, our partners, Endress and Hauser (E&H), who have specially set up a booth here, to share with us their expertise on the MFM technology.
Today, Equatorial is honoured to be appointed by Sinopec Lubricants as their authorised distributor for marine lubricants in Singapore. We are thankful for this exciting opportunity and look forward to a strong partnership with Sinopec.
We believe that the best way forward is to forge stronger and closer relationships with all our customers, to better understand each other’s needs. We believe in a win-win solution for all of us.
At the next SIBCON 2 years later, Equatorial will be celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we hope to be celebrating with you then.
Thank you all for your unwavering support all these years, and rest assure that Equatorial Marine Fuel will always be there for you, both goods times and bad. Please enjoy the food and drinks, and have an excellent night!
Thank you.”
